One of the most amazing places I have ever visited was Niagara Falls. It is a favorite vacation destination for the whole family, and is also very popular as a honeymoon destination. When booking your room at the hotel, consider a package deal when making your reservations. Ask if there is anything available that includes the room plus such amenities as spa, boat rides, public transportation, or free meals. You can often save money with a package deal such as this rather than buying everything separately. Book your flight on a weekday. Weekend air travel will be costlier. On a budget, stay on the American side. Hotel rates are usually cheaper on this side than on the Canadian side. You will still find plenty to do and see, and you will save a few dollars at the less expensive hotels. Try to find local cafes and diners for your breakfast and lunch, and if you have money leftover then go ahead and splurge for dinner. Keep your trip on the short side, 3 or 4 days, to avoid spending too much money. Purchase a Niagara USA Discovery Pass which includes The Cave of the Winds, The Maid of the Mist, Niagara Adventure Theater, Gorge Discovery Center, Aquarium of Niagara, and Scenic Trolley. In addition, you will also receive discount coupons to regional attractions including Top of the Falls Restaurant, Old Fort, Artpark, Frank Lloyd Wright, Erie Canal Cruises, the wax museum, and fashion outlets. Don't forget to look for money-saving coupons on the Internet. If you use these tips, you can save a little money and also have an amazing vacation at one of the world's most spectacular travel destinations. |
